C’est Moi

I write words on the screen at night after the homeschooling is done and my three boys are lost to dreamland. I shares stories here about life as a mom to autism, walking through grief after losing my daughter in 2010, and the beauty and soul balm in all of it.  I also love to show my carni side and share vintage finds, ephemera of the everyday and the beautiful mundane. I’m currently gestating another wee one due Fall 2011.

In late 2010, I parlayed my love of poetry and the written word into a new venture, The Lovely Guide, where my artist-soulmate and I love to show off pretty things and bring design, indie crafts and poetic inspiration to a whole new level. I am also the Print Editorial Director for Story Bleed magazine, a writer for Babble’s Being Pregnant blog, a Contributor at DaySpring’s (In)Courage as well as Deeper Story, and a channel editor for Lifetime Entertainment. In my spare time (hee!) I can either be found window shopping on Etsy, watching reruns of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or sewing something random just because.
