You know you’re having fun when…
Laundry sits clean but rumpled in a basket for days and pick from it to dress and no one cares.
Your floors are about to get organized and stage a rebellion if they’re not swept soon, and no one cares.
You come home from the store and leave the bags on the floor to be knocked over and spilled out, and still no one cares.
Your entryway is lived in, loved in and everyone cares.
I hope you had a great weekend. As my dear friend Lisa-Jo says…
Now it’s your turn. You know you’re having fun when…

…when the blog is updated and the house is a wreck, when there is sidewalk chalk and happy squealing in the garage, when I hear the sound of my husband’s foil clanging along, when you don’t eat dinner until 9:30 and stay up until midnight without the kids…
What a breath of fresh air this post is. I am so encouraged to see the healing at your house!

When you log on to check up on a good friend and find you were on her mind to.
When the more mud in the back yard the merrier.
When clean clothes are outnumbered by the dirty.
When arms, legs, boys and daddy can’t be distinguished on the bed!
Love you, Ari!

… when you realize the clothes you’re going to sleep in are the same ones you wore all day – and slept in the night before. :)

When the dog hair on the floor could technically create another dog…
When one of the couches has become “the clothes couch” to everyone in your home….
When the trunk of your car has enough stuff in it to fill another car completely….
When the mail has piled up so high, you actually fear what’s on the bottom….
When you’re all under the covers in bed, and you don’t want to leave….
And no one cares.

…you’re having a snack with the kids, listening to the iPod, and your daughter yells “FREEZE! Dance break!” which leads to bodies bouncing around the kitchen.

Looks like my house! ;)
We’ve been having fun too…picnics, parties, and spending lots of time outdoors in the undeniably lovely spring weather.

Upon reading these comments, I think Tricia and I must have the same house and car! This post made me giggle…..

I think. No, I KNOW. The trains and books and dolls and half-full sippy cups and bottles and tub toys in the family room and dog hair and fingerprints and jelly smudges and random socks and wet raincoats and crayon tips and permanent marker marks and glue and glitter and spilled Frosted Flakes are better NOW in grandparenthood… !!!!
LOVE this post!! LOVE you!!

It is great and Holy Friday and we are all home… we are going to dye eggs despite the dust bunnies and the mountain of laundry.
Hope to be back and check out your archives soon.

You look into your mate of 40 year’s eyes and they’re smiling back at you. No toalking, no hand holding, no agenda…just “that look”.

Love it. Can SO relate. This is the year of unfolded laundry. I think your house still looks good. Really. The stairs, pretty flooring, paint. Seriously.
