I just don’t even know how to respond. I can’t even begin to describe what your words mean to me. What you write, what you create, is your service to the Lord. I still don’t know what mine is. But to have found you, this blog, this testament. It’s the wind in my sails, but I guess the Lord knew it would be. You need to know how your words can impact a single life, a single soul. The Lord brought me here to bring me back. He’s showing me Himself through your words. They don’t just resonate, they echo and breathe, circulate around the vines that encircle my soul sometimes. Thank you for using your gift. Keep going. Just keep going.

i read this out loud to my husband…your words even more significant as they resonated out across the room. your words are beautiful. they are a deep reflection of your soul. but they are beautiful because they speak truth about our awesome Creator, whom we cannot even begin to fathom. Because “{we} are like a breath of air; {our} days are like a passing shadow.

This was well written and I do believe that Nature is a testament to us at how much God loves us and how powerful and wonderful He is. Doesn’t it say if we don’t praise Him that even the rocks will cry out to praise him?

I’ve said for a long time that writers just think differently. We have a way of processing that might be different from someone who thinks mathematically or in paint strokes. Analogies come alive in each moment for many of us word-crafters. What a beautiful, awe-inspiring gift of God to allow us the opportunity to put these to pen and paper (or keyboard and screen!) and draw others to see His love and grace and creativity.

Amazing – you have actually put into words something that I have often struggled to describe. Yes – the living breathing parable. Marriage, childbirth, children – we take into our flesh and live out with our bones these truths.

I will be thinking about your metaphors a long time. They resonate with me so much.

And this, “until our own soft and cooing and crying fruit bursts forth?” – just wow and yes and Amen.

So profound. As one who thinks incessantly in analogies as well, your perspective–that God created these breathing demonstrations/living analogies, that he uses the entire natural world to show us, teach us, draw us–makes me feel (and not just know) what wondrous love this is.
