We have been having so much fun putting lunch notes in Charlie’s lunch box each day. Jonah is the one who loved to sneak a note in, and he’s been my partner in crime as we create a little love for his brother.
We were sent these adorable cards (as well as a couple pads of notes with my blog logo on them — so thoughtful) by the Lunchables people to spread the word about their project. They didn’t ask me to blog about it or anything just sent me the cards and told me about Lunch Note Promise. I thought it was a pretty cute idea and wanted to tell you all about it!
The idea is simple — they want to bring back the “lunch note” and by promising to do that for your kids they will send a free meal to a child in need through Feeding America. Their goal is 100,000 promises for 100,000 meals, and it’s easy to make the promise right on their site. They even have free printable cards that are some seriously cute designs. You get to send love for lunch, get free cards, and send a free meal to someone. Total win – win, right?
While perusing the site I also discovered that they have new Lunchables that have water, turkey, wheat bread and applesauce. Something I LOVE to see, because even though we’d ditch the bread, my kids could actually eat the rest of it. That’s huge for a family with a lot of food allergies.
Have fun with the notes, be sure to check out all their designs, free AND adorable!

What a great idea! Thank you for sharing. Baby Boy does not go to school yet but I will try to remember for the future.

I love leaving notes for my boys in their backpacks and whenever we visit their school, I sneak one in their desk. They save them, too! Those are really cute. Especially Jonah's expressions!
