Yesterday when searching for a rogue computer cord, we found some old pictures. Some were of the early years of us skinny, young and newlywed. Others were of our first two kids as babes.
This picture of my now almost 5 year old struck a chord. I got choked up and couldn’t continue looking at it…

aww I'm sorry. I'm not familiar with Autism too well but I'm learning more now that I'm involved in SM. My daughter has ADHD and I remember the days before that "kicked in", or rather, she was diagnosed with it. It's very difficult because you can't "cure it", you have to learn ways to cope and deal. It's never ending.
