This is our first trip ever to DisneyWorld, we were brought down here courtesy of the folks at Disney to experience and learn about their systems and accommodations for special needs families, and I’ll be writing a few articles for them all about planning, surviving and enjoying Disney.
I’ll post in detail about this trip when [...]

Hello My Name Is Crazy

May 29, 2009
jonah2

You know when you have a swirl of life circumstances that are so profound, immense, large in quantity, moving, taxing and ridiculous that you can’t quite remember what you used to do, what your routines were, what you were supposed to be doing or which end is up?
Yeah.
Last week, I flew to Orlando and took [...]

They Say It’s Your Birthday

Jonah Bradley.  Turned Two today.

Two years of sweetness, smiles and love like I’ve never known before.

A missing piece to his brothers’ ongoing and crazy puzzle, brothers who didn’t realize how much they needed him.

Through trials and tribulations with this boy, we can only see the heart of a lion.

He fell down just in time to [...]

Messy

May 12, 2009

I just stole away to my bedroom upstairs, quietly and quickly.  I don’t know if I should lay down for a nap, fold one of the many mountains of laundry, or actually do some blog reading for once…
I couldn’t take being out in the world any longer today, even if “the world” was just my [...]

Push Back The Screen (A Giveaway!)

Thinking Thin: Inching Down

May 9, 2009
Reblog this post [with Zemanta]

Today it’s 45 degrees, mostly un-sunny and yet I feel the warmth of a peaceful respite washing over me.  My skin has goosebumps as I sit here at the open window and listen to my kids playing in the yard, but my soul is warm and toasty.  For now anyway.
Yesterday when I weighed in I [...]

Thinking Thin: Standing Still

May 6, 2009
Reblog this post [with Zemanta]

Hello, this is me.  At a stand still.  The weight loss, that is.  It’s stuck.
Am I the only person to be 15 pounds into a weight loss journey that is going to be a looong road that hit a plateau this early?
I’m still working hard at all this, still faithful to my Weight Watchers plan, [...]

Before

May 1, 2009
jamiebefore

Yesterday when searching for a rogue computer cord, we found some old pictures.  Some were of the early years of us skinny, young and newlywed.  Others were of our first two kids as babes.
This picture of my now almost 5 year old struck a chord.  I got choked up and couldn’t continue looking at it…
….to [...]
