As my husband and I both take on the caretaker and worker bee roles in the house, depending on the day and the current project, we’re always on the hunt for a good babysitter. My parents help us out so much, but we often wish the burden of helping us wasn’t entirely on their shoulders. For the most part, having special needs children means that it’s near impossible to find someone who is trained in caring for autistic children, never mind someone who we’d really trust.
But as the need for some new help continues to present itself, I know the first place I’ll be looking. Care.com is the first place to go for not only special needs care providers, but baby sitters, pet sitters, house keepers and more. They all have background checks, because Care.com does the work for us in making sure providers are all on the up and up.
The reason I’m telling you about them today, is because Care.com is having a really great special THIS coming weekend.

I am really excited about this, because we want to find someone to take our dog for walks when we work 14 hours a day during the summer. I know it sounds crazy to pay someone to walk our dog, but making him stay inside when it's so nice out makes us feel bad!
I'll let you know how it goes!

Good luck! I don't think it sounds crazy at all, and I'm so glad there is a service like this for people who need it! Let us know how it goes.
