I am such a music lover, that any gift related to music would make my heart swoon instantly. There are just a few genres of music that don’t move me, I enjoy hearing the notes and ebb and flow of the rhythm and can find something awesome in almost any tune. Music speaks to my soul, makes me feel warm and fuzzy, and is a great gift for your lovie (and mine) this Valentine’s Day.
As one of the WalMart Elevenmoms I get to give away some music awesomeness to one of you lucky readers! Not only a $10 gift cert to WalMart’s music store (which goes a little farther since their music is cheaper than iTunes), but also an 8G Apple iPod Touch!! Oh how I wish I could win this one myself…
WalMart has also put together an adorable Valentine’s site, with tons of ideas (great for last minute planners like myself) and a sweet eCard that you can send to save the paper and the postage.

Favorite love song? Wow that's hard. If you had asked me this a few years ago, I would have said Van Morrison's Crazy Love, hands down. But now I might be leaning towards Ray LaMontagne's Hold You in My Arms. This is just a ploy to gather the greatest love songs for an ultimate love song mix tape, isn't it? Genius, but I'm on to you.

Not because it is Valentine's Day, but my all-time favorite love song is actually "My Funny Valentine". When I was in high school (in the 50's) Jackie Gleason's orchestra with Bobby Hackett playing trumpet on albums, one of which was "Music for Lover's Only" was the ULTIMATE make-out music. Then, of course there was "Dance with Me" by the Drifters because that was playing and we were dancing when my husband asked me to marry him in December, 1959!
