Buried

by Arianne on February 4, 2009

So busy and behind with work/bloggy/writing/life lately that I can barely keep my head above water.  I’m totally excited for BlissDom09 (I leave tomorrow morning!), I’m making changes, heading in the right direction, but can’t help but still feel–buried.

And because we creative types love word pictures, how apropos that we’ve been literally buried yesterday and today.  I mean, check it out:

**The arctic tundra, I mean front yard**

**My 6.5yr old in our backyard**

So to everyone I’m letting down at the moment, I haven’t forgotten about you.  I know I owe you a thank you/email/post/explanation/kiss.  I’ll get caught up, eventually.  Hopefully neither I, nor the house, will get buried again until next year.  A girl can dream…

Yes, I can't wait to tell all the juicy details about that heavenly Disney cruise–oh how I'm missing the crystal clear water and lovely temps right about now! I hear Nashville is nice and normal right now, so I look forward to that!

It's crazy that I live just a teeny bit south of you and didn't get nearly that much snow. I'm thankful for it… so done with snow!

Have fun at Blissdom!!

The site of all that snow makes me want to cry for you.
We dont nearly have that much snow but with the location of our house any snow keeps me stuck in doors.

I dont like snow. I dont like have to shovel it either. How do you guys shovel all that snow in your driveway? I couldn't even wrap my mind around that.

Have fun at Blissdom '09! Enjoy the warmth!

If I ever complain about snow again, make me look at these pictures so I can have some perspective, okay?

You sure are buried. I would love to play in it. We haven't had a good snow since early January.

Wow! You really are buried…literally! Your 6 1/2 year old looks like he's up to his waist! LOL. I bet he was having a ball.

I can't wait to hear more details about the Disney cruise – and Blissdom! I'm thinking of you all this weekend.

Geez, I know I'm almost 2 weeks late to comment on this post but I sure hope you're unburied now! I'm finally looking at brown grass…which in my opinion, is better than looking at the dead of winter, aka "snow".
