I love it! He looks adorable . I was the same way with my baby too, he used to have long hair that stood straight up. Now he’s 3 1/2 and sporting a buzz-cut like his big brothers .

What a sweet little pumpkin! I so understand where you are coming from. Emily’s hair is soooo long and unmanageable and at first I said that were letting it grow out for locks of love, but now it is plenty long enough and I just can’t seem to do it. She will lose her sweet baby look and look like a big girl and I just am not ready for that. She is my last baby too so I feel your pain!

Love it! My Gunnar, who is 19 months, also has a bullet! He has beautiful hair that I just refuse to cut… And the curls!

Don’t succumb to the pressure.
I didn’t cut my son’s hair until he was 18 months old. He is a perfectly fine well adjusted boys boy of 7 years.
I love the little baby curls they get and once you cut it they will never come back. I think that your idea is good as long as you do not let it get to the middle of his back – seriously at work last week there were twins in with their mom and i thought they were girls cause they had beautiful to die for blond hair all the way to their butts. I said “bye girls” and the mom said “they are boys” OOOPS. But i am sur eyou won’t let it get that far so what is a few more months of cute baby hair (maybe you could make it a birthday present for when he turns 2)

BJ had a bullet too!! He was almost 2 before I cut his beautiful blonde locks, and instantly he looks 10 years older. It was terrible and sad. I say hold out as long as you can. Bullest *are* the new black. Fo’ realz.

I’ll send you a picture of BJ’s bullet when I get home on Monday. So super-sweet!

Oh me too. I am so reluctant to cut may 15 month old’s hair. I just tell people that it is doctor’s orders to not cut it since at the last appt she said, “Oh, you can’t cut off those beautiful curls.” Of course it’s starting to fall in his eyes so I considered trimming his bangs which would lead to a “bullet” cut. I think they will be all the rage with the toddler set this year.

Awwww, he wears it so well! Just a couple of weeks ago I had to cut Peyton’s mullet off, she wasn’t pulling off the “business in the front, party in the back” look so well. As long as you don’t let him get all “Celine Dion’s son”, he’s perfect just as he is! He’s only this age once.

Oh my, I have the same issue. I’ve tried to convince myself that I should market barrettes for boys…there has to be a market for that right? RIGHT? Poor thing has hair in his eyes all the time.
