		<description>I can&#039;t believe this post only has 2 comments so far.  It&#039;s so raw and thought provoking and maybe that&#039;s why. This shook me.  

Like you mentioned we studied this for about 5 minutes in high school but I became obsessed with it and needed to know more and more even though it hurt so bad to know.  I&#039;ve since pushed it to the back over the years and thanks for bringing this back to my attention because we can&#039;t forget something like this.  And we can&#039;t forget taking our lives for granted.</description>

		<description>I can NOT imagine it. I have a hard enough time reading the front page of the paper everyday and usually go straight to my kids and give them hugs and cuddles and am so thankful for the lives we are so privileged to live right now... for now...

I got into an argument not long after on the local forum for my small town and I was just about the only person who felt that what happened there was totally wrong. The general consensus was that we were justifed and that if we hadn&#039;t bombed, the war would have continued and even more lives would have been lost. I say melting the skin off of innocent people is 100% wrong 100% of the time.
