If you thought I was a busy bee before, hang on to your hat.  It’s getting a whole lot busier, and a whole lot greener up in herrr.

I am the Managing Editor of the shiny and new site called 5 Minutes for Going Green.  It’s a new sister site of 5 Minutes for Mom, and I’m over the moon about this new baby of ours.  We have a team of amazing writers on deck to bring you stories, tips, hilarity and more.  I know you will absolutely LOVE it, and we need your help in spreading the word!  So come on over, add us to your reader, post about it, tweet about it, tell your friends go crazy!

And while you’re at it, don’t stop there.  Check out the other fabulous sister sites that were also born today.  It’s a whole family of hip and smart women, that I know you will adore.

Big hug and smooches to Janice and Susan from 5 Minutes for Mom for bringing me on board and making all our dreams a reality!

THANK YOU for posting that. Although it might have been a bit of shameless self-promotion (because really, what isn’t in the blogosphere?), it led me to click through to “5 minutes for special needs” and THAT was what I needed today.

Oh thank you thank you thank you. I am feeling a little frail and tattered today. I needed that.

I just found something today that would be great for 5MFGG! I’d been searching for a kitchen for my daughter for Christmas (thinking ahead!) and found these plans to make one - recycling cardboard boxes! Perfect for us because we’re moving in about 2 months! Check it out:
    http://fortytworoads.blogspot.com/2007/10/toy-kitchen-is-finished.html
She sells the plans on Etsy, which is where I got my copy. They’re very detailed plans & I can’t wait to give my daughter something I made for her. (I had a cardboard kitchen when I was a little girl, too!)

Just found this blog and the 5MFGG announcement. Looking forward to keeping updated on both.. thanks. We can be green in so many ways which is awesome for ourselves and our planet. I like sharing about cleaning green because I have been doing it for as long as I can remember. It is not only healthier and safer but can save money too.

Got something to say?
