I remember what it was like to have a normal Noah and then lose him. He was so dazed and seizuring all the time that the eye contact was lost, too. When we finally had him "back", I can't describe it. Like when something is lost and now found and you just want to hold on to it and never ever want to lose it again. You are a wonderful writer! My grandmother passed away about a month ago, and a couple days before se died, she opened her eyes and looked right into mine. It's something that I am SO glad to have to remember for the rest of my life. She talked to me with her eyes that day, and for that I am so very blessed. I agree with your dad!
